Bonnie Hovel, MSW, ACSW
GroupWyse was founded by Bonnie Hovel, MSW. Bonnie had a 25-year career with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. While working at VA Puget Sound Health Care System, she helped lead the culture change for a merger of two hospitals followed by a major reorganization. Bonnie's professional experience includes five years of combined work in management and clinical Social Work. Her insight and interpersonal skills in working with all types of people are useful to organizations interested in creating collaborative, respectful environments. |
Education
Bonnie has a Master of Social Work degree with a minor in Organizational Development from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, 1992. She has a Bachelor of Education in Human Services, Counseling Emphasis from Western Washington University 6/90, Graduated cum laude, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers.

Wendy Riverman
Wendy has had a 30 year career working in the Federal sector, to include positions with U.S. Public Health Service Hospital, Internal Revenue Service, and most recently Department of Veterans Affairs. She has extensive experience facilitating training of a variety of topics such as team work, communication skills and conflict resolution. She has designed and implemented coaching and leadership workshops and has taught Basic Facilitation Skills to middle managers. She is also a highly skilled facilitator of customized retreats for managers and work groups. Her studies of organizational development theory, team and individual development have given her an excellent grounding in organizational and personal behavior. Her strong interpersonal skills and special insights and instincts make her particularly effective in dealing with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and education levels.
